DJ Lessons
Hands-on tuition on industry-standard equipment with a working DJ. Every session is fully personalised – we meet you at your level and build from there, whether you're mixing your first two records or refining a set for a club booking.

Tailored sessions.
There's no fixed syllabus. We'll start with a free call to understand where you are and where you want to get to – then build a plan around that. Below is a snapshot of the areas we typically cover.
Foundations
Beatmatching, cueing, phrasing and timing. The core mechanics that everything else sits on top of – done by ear, not just sync.
Mixing and transitions
Three-band EQ swaps, filter use, doubles, loops and edits. Smooth blends and creative cuts – the full toolkit for moving between two records.
Set craft
Track selection, building energy, reading a room and recovering from mistakes. The art behind the technique.
Library and preparation
Rekordbox, hot cues, beatgrids and USB prep. Everything that makes your set play smoothly when you arrive at the booth.
Whatever you're working on
Already prepping a set? Stuck on a transition? Bring your USB and we'll work on it directly. Sessions adapt to what you need that week.
Built around your goals.
Lessons are booked session-by-session or in flexible blocks. Pricing is shared on the free intro call once we've scoped what you're working towards.

FAQ
No. The studio has a Pioneer XDJ-XZ so you can learn on club-standard gear from day one. If you already have a controller or CDJ setup at home, bring it along and we'll work with that too.
Absolutely. Most students start from scratch. The intro call is precisely so we can establish where you are and build from there without any assumptions.
Once a week tends to produce the fastest progress, but fortnightly works well too. Some students book intensively before a gig. There's no obligation – you book as and when suits you.
Yes. Online sessions are available for those outside Lincoln or who prefer learning from home. See the Online Lessons page for how the setup works.
