Cookie Policy.
We try to keep things light. The site uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage items so it works properly and remembers your choices. Below is the full list — what they do, how long they stay, and who sets them.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work. These cannot be turned off because the site would break without them.
| Name | Provider | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sl_cookie_consent | The Sound Lab | Local storage | 12 months | Stores your cookie preferences so we do not ask again on every page. |
Functional
Remember choices you make to give you a better experience – like dismissing a popup or remembering your preferences.
| Name | Provider | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sl_newsletter_dismissed | The Sound Lab | Local storage | 30 days | Remembers when you dismissed the newsletter sign-up popup so it does not reappear immediately. |
| Calendly cookies | Calendly | Cookie | Up to 12 months | Set by Calendly only when you click through to book a call. Used by Calendly to remember your booking preferences and prevent double-bookings. |
Managing your preferences.
When you first visited the site you should have seen a banner asking what you're happy with. If you'd like to change your mind, you can clear the sl_cookie_consent entry in your browser's local storage and the banner will reappear on your next visit.
You can also block all non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Most modern browsers let you control cookies on a per-site basis — see your browser's help pages for instructions.
